Guido M Flor, who resided at 902 Wyoming, managed the bowling alley in 1950 per the Polk Directory. G M Flor was the owner/manager of the alleys per the 1950 Rocky Mountain Business Directory (902 Wyoming was Flor's residence). Per Dave Mitchelson, the 4-lane alley on Broadway Street had support poles just past the foul line and when a dispute escalated during pot games after a pole was touched during competition Guido Flor pronounced he was building a new bowling center without poles and Flor's Bowling Lanes was born. |
